The Role: Data Quality Expert As a Finance Data Quality Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data within our organization. You will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of financial information, supporting regulatory compliance, and enabling informed decision-making. The candidate should be proficient in utilizing financial software such as Hyperion, AFO (Analysis for Office), ERP SAP, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel to generate actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various stakeholders to drive financial data integrity and contribute to the overall success of the organization. What will you do? Develop and implement data quality standards and controls specific to financial data to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal processes and policies. Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT teams to identify, assess, and remediate data quality issues related to financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. Design and execute data quality assessments and audits focused on financial data to identify anomalies, discrepancies, and potential risks. Establish and monitor key data quality metrics and KPIs to measure the accuracy and reliability of financial data. Lead initiatives to cleanse, standardize, and validate financial data to maintain high-quality data repositories and reporting systems. Contribute to the selection and implementation of data quality tools and technologies specific to financial data management and governance. Provide guidance and training to finance and accounting teams on data quality best practices and processes. Will be deeply involved in discussions and driving key current organizational data-related initiatives, to name a few: managerial scope alignment, CPQ governance, direct CCO quality and accuracy, transfer pricing standardization and automation, DFL implementation What are the Key Skills and Qualifications to be successful? Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or Lean Six Sigma designation is a plus. Preferably 7-10 years experienced employees specializing in finance job role in Management/Cost Accounting/Business Analysis and Planning, Data Quality Management or equivalent. Proven experience in financial data management, data quality assurance, or related roles within the finance domain. In-depth knowledge of financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements related to financial data integrity. Familiarity with financial systems, ERP platforms, and data quality tools specific to financial data management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively across finance, IT, and business teams, with the ability to convey complex financial data concepts to non-finance stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
