Trials.ai by ZS is a SaaS product offering that helps pharma companies get treatments to patients faster through a suite of platform applications. We are currently focused on our Smart Designer app which brings AI-based decision support to study design teams while they are designing their clinical trials. DATA SCIENCE ENGINEER We are looking to hire Data Scientists to bring predictive modeling to the clinical development ecosystem. Starting first with our flagship product, the Trials.ai Smart Designer, you will gather and synthesize data to help scientists make better study design decisions by building out ML predictive models. Main data science initiatives include: Patient Burden, complexity modeling and amendment prediction however, you will only be limited by your own imagination. Trials.ai by ZS uses cutting edge technology to mine historical trial related documents and build a structure graph-based dataset. As a data scientist you will become intimately familiar with the data and structure of the graph to product valuable insights and predictive models for all Trials.ai platform applications. What You’ll Do Build, orchestrate, and monitor model pipelines including feature engineering, inferencing and continuous model training Scaling machine learning algorithms to work on massive data sets and strict SLAs Build and enhance ML Engineering platforms and components Implement ML Ops including model KPI measurements, tracking, data and model drift and model feedback loop Write production-ready code that is easily testable, understood by other developers and accounts for edge cases and errors Ensure highest quality of deliverables by following architecture/design guidelines, coding best practices, period design/code reviews Uses bug tracking, code review, version control and other tools to organize and deliver work Participate in scrum calls, and effectively communicate work progress, issues and dependencies Consistently contribute to researching and evaluating latest architecture patterns/technologies through rapid learning, conducting proof-of-concepts and creating prototype solutions What You’ll Bring Curious mindset, new ideas and dedication to your craft Bachelor's/Master's degree with specialization in Computer Science, MIS, IT or commensurate industry experience 3+ years of experience developing high performing web-based applications, cloud technologies, software development best practices Experience in ML Ops to measure and track model performance Good fundamentals of machine learning and deep learning Knowledgeable of core Computer Science concepts such as common data structures, algorithms, and design patterns Experience in ML platforms like Sagemaker, MLFlow or other platforms Experience in deploying models to cloud services like AWS, Azure, GCP Expertise in crafting ML Models for high performance and scalability Experience in implementing feature engineering, inferencing pipelines and real time model predictions Domain expertise and/or willingness to learn clinical development domain Experience with microservices architecture using docker, Kubernetes or comparable technology Expertise with Linux, command line tools and shell scripting Experience building/using enterprise grade platform APIs Deep understanding of current database technologies including graph, relational and document stores Additional Skills: Up to speed with latest technologies related (but not limited to) to cloud platform services Excellent verbal and written communication, with appropriate and logical structuring of thoughts process during discussion/ presentation Ability to lead project teams in driving end to end activities to meet set milestones and provide necessary mentorship/ guidance for the team growth Ability to distill complex concepts into easy-to-understand frameworks and presentations Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams Ability to work within a virtual global team environment and contribute to the overall timely delivery of multiple projects Willingness to travel to other global offices as needed to work with client or other internal project teams Perks & Benefits: ZS offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health and well-being, financial planning, annual leave, personal growth and professional development.
