Responsibilities: Design and implement data testing strategy with respect to system architecture and data flows Design and develop a data quality framework according to the identified data product strategy (define critical data, controls, and quality targets, set thresholds and alerts, etc) Work closely with all data quality and data governance stakeholders (including management) to advocate data quality within the project. Understand, design, and implement automated data quality checks Be a subject-matter expert in relation to data testing, data quality, and data governance Serve as data quality champion within the project and contribute to an inclusive team environment What We’re Looking For: Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and a minimum 5 years of experience as a data quality engineer Strong SQL knowledge, experience with different RDBMS Strong Python skills Big Data – Hive, Spark, Kafka Data pipelines and ETL (e.g. SSIS, Airflow, AWS Glue) Strong team player with experience working in an agile environment Meticulous attention to detail at every stage of the data delivery process Ability to assist in the troubleshooting and root cause analysis of issues What We offer: Flexible working hours to allow you to attend your family Benefits package (private health care, life insurance, MultiSport card) 5 days off for charity/volunteering 5 additional free Wellness days in the year Free day on birthday Free day on work anniversary 10 days of fully paid sick leaves Paid parental leave of 26 weeks for all parents And many, many more!
