Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling Psychology or Marriage & Family Therapy required. Prior experience providing therapeutic interventions for the psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient or group setting. Provisional license in respective field (e.g. SWC, LPCC, MFTC) required or must be able to demonstrate that the process to obtaining this is underway. LCSW, LPC, LMFT preferred. Prefer knowledge of: group and individual therapy interventions and modalities; risk assessment and crisis/behavior management; mental health disorders and associated treatment; family counseling; discharge planning and patient case management.
