The ACAS Team Lead will support security, stability, and functionality of DARPA's Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) systems, including Tenable Nessus and related ACAS tools. Responsibilities Lead a team of cybersecurity analysts responsible for operating and maintaining the Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) suite across multiple classified networks. Manage vulnerability scanning operations using Tenable Nessus and related ACAS tools, ensuring compliance with DoD STIGs, RMF, and DISA requirements. Coordinate daily/weekly scanning schedules, reporting, and remediation tracking across enterprise environments. Serve as primary liaison with system owners, ISSOs, and ISSMs to communicate scan findings, risk posture, and mitigation strategies. Ensure vulnerability data is accurately captured, tracked, and reported in accordance with DoD and organizational policies. Provide leadership, mentoring, and task delegation to team members; conduct performance feedback and training sessions. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for vulnerability management processes. Support audits, inspections, and compliance reviews by preparing technical documentation and metrics reports. Escalate significant security risks and unresolved vulnerabilities to senior leadership in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (network, system admin, cybersecurity engineering) to coordinate remediation efforts. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or GED equivalent 5+ years of relevant experience Sec+ cert required TS with SCI eligibility Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of ACAS tools (Tenable Nessus, Security Center, Policy Compliance, PVS) and DoD vulnerability management practices. Knowledge of DoD STIGs, SRGs, DISA policies, RMF processes, and IAVA/IAVM compliance requirements. Experience analyzing, interpreting, and prioritizing vulnerability scan results for enterprise-level systems. Ability to lead and motivate a small technical team, including task assignment, workload balancing, and mentoring. Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and briefing) with the ability to interface with both technical staff and senior leadership. Ability to develop metrics, dashboards, and reports to illustrate vulnerability posture and remediation progress. Familiarity with Windows, Linux, and network device vulnerabilities and patch management processes. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, including ITD, COMP, and DARPA tech offices.
