The Transformation Programme Director will drive the Transformation Programme with accountability for the programme frameworks/tools as a core member of the Supply Chain Transformation team. The role will effectively drive the delivery of identified activities and benefits, partnering with cross-functional business teams to do this. Whilst the Programme needs to be well structured, there is opportunity within the role to be creative and agile, shaping solutions and finding innovative approaches and optimal delivery methods. The role will need to influence a wide range of stakeholders at many levels to gain commitment to plans and to identify and resolve risks/interdependencies. The Programme is a single GSK transformation - it is global across Pharma and Vaccines, driving digital transformation and acceleration with one GSK transformation team. Key Responsibilities: The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Accountable for effective Programme governance frameworks, plans, workstream tracking, KPIs, budgets, interdependencies and related reporting. Continuous improvement focus to ensure these are fit for purpose as the Transformation progresses. Working very closely with the work stream leads to ensure the alignment and delivery of the business outcomes are aligned to the overall Transformation Preparation for Steering processes, STPs (able to construct business proposals and implementation plans), programme proposals - identifying and implementing decisions needed, risk identification/ management/ mitigation Innovative approach to identify opportunities for value and acceleration, to connect across business areas for synergies and to look for innovative ways to scale-up/implement fast and securely Ensuring the alignment and delivery of the business outcomes for the identified work-streams in line with the overall supply chain transformation direction. Maintain effective cross-business Programme capability and practices to achieve transformation goals, being creative in identifying solutions to problems including use of agile methodology Manage stakeholder engagement process and communications plans to support the integration and embedding of changes into business processes, systems and teams Maintain strong and supportive relationships with business teams, establishing networks cross-functionally and end to end, and listening to the Voice of the Customer Model GSK Behaviours with an enterprise mindset as a senior leader working across GSK and lead by example, working successfully with different cultures Create a supportive atmosphere in which to provide coaching, feedback and support to team members and extended team Receive and manage any audits/feedback of transformation programme with a continuous improvement, learning mindset Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate business/technical area. Substantial experience in supply chain/ operations programme delivery with a quality mindset. Proven Leadership and people skills Accountability mindset Experience and training in Agile methodology Demonstrated experience in implementing change and a continuous improvement mindset Experience of working in different cultures to collaborate and build relationships Demonstrable credibility with/management of senior stakeholders Problem solving abilities suitable for handling highly complex issues Leading edge knowledge of Supply Chain processes and supporting systems within a global business environment Self-motivated, confident and resilient Preferred Qualifications Advanced Degree in a supply chain or operational related discipline - logistics, supply/demand management, operational management Pharmaceutical / Vaccines Experience Ability to drive and influence strategic direction. Exceptional capability to influence leadership. Experience working independently with senior executives and the ability to quickly build personal credibility and assimilate business issues/need.
