As a Shop Assembler, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing and reassembling returned capacitors and coil assemblies. Responsibilities Responsibilities includes but are not limited to: •Perform detailed repairs and rework on mechanical components according to specified guidelines. •Inspect returned capacitors and coils for defects and damage. •Assemble and reassemble parts, ensuring proper fit and functionality. •Maintain accurate records of repairs and replacements performed. •Assist with inventory management of parts and materials as needed. •Collaborate with leads and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve issues. •Perform soldering of components with precision. •Inspect finished products for quality assurance and adherence to specifications. •Assist in designing, fabricating, and assembling custom fixtures. Other duties and responsibilities: •Will be required to cross-train as back-up in other areas of the manufacturing plant. •Other job-related duties as may be necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position. Qualifications A minimum of two years of assembly experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be able to •Ability to read and interpret technical drawing •Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers and Supervisors •Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve •Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. •Previous experience in mechanical assembly or repairs preferred.
