Site Name: USA - Pennsylvania - Upper Providence Posted Date: Apr 19 2024 The GlaxoSmithKline U.S. Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (DMPK) organization is responsible for the delivery of key DMPK support (in vitro, pharmacokinetic/toxicokinetic, and bioanalytical) that helps drive early drug discovery programs. Within that structure, the PK/TK team is responsible for delivering quality data in timely manner to allow projects to deliver quality molecules. As a Discovery DMPK PK/TK Analyst you will be responsible for the delivery of in vivo PK/TK data to support discovery projects. Responsibilities: Working within the Discovery DMPK PK/TK team, you will be required to perform pharmacokinetic (PK) and/or toxicokinetic analysis using Microsoft excel and Phoenix® Winnonlin. Through working closely with team members, the candidate will perform PK/TK study preparation, data analysis, and data interpretation. This role’s primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Input into PK and/or TK study design, data analysis, data interpretation, sample preparation, decision making and compliance along with oversight of internal and/or external PK/TK studies. Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to help us achieve our goals: BSc/MSc in biology, pharmacology or related discipline with 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry. Experience in conducting basic Pharmacokinetic/ Toxicokinetic data analysis. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word. Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Proficient user of WinNonlin Phoenix. Experience managing outsourced studies or authoring non-clinical reports a plus. In vivo study preparations. Attention to detail and effective communication/documentation skills will be expected. Maintains a disciplined approach, ensuring a relentless focus on quality, compliance, scientific rigor and operational excellence. Able to highlight issues and be able to troubleshoot and solve problems and implement best practices. Can serve as an in vivo PK resource to internal colleagues across DMPK. Highly motivated team player with a proactive attitude, excellent organizational skills, and a demonstrated ability to interact effectively within a multi-disciplinary team are essential. Open to the application of new and emerging computational technologies to solve workstream challenges.
