This communications role will work shoulder-to-shoulder with the Advisory executive team in a fast-paced environment to evolve and deliver high-impact communications. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Communications, as part of the National Marketing & Communications (NMC) team, the Senior Communications Manager will leverage their 10+ years of communications expertise as they work collaboratively with the Advisory business unit’s leadership team. This individual will build upon the foundation of existing communications programs and roll up their sleeves to deliver results aligned to business objectives. The successful candidate will have proven senior-level internal communications experience, excellent writing skills and the ability to lead several projects simultaneously. What you will do Develop and execute national internal and external communications strategies to support the Advisory business unit’s strategic objectives and service offerings. Collaborate with colleagues and leaders across the organization to understand business developments, build thoughtful messaging and execute flawlessly. Deliver exceptional service to stakeholders through high-quality work, strategic planning and attention to detail Roll up your sleeves to manage all aspects of the communications strategy and execution, ensure consistent service delivery, identify areas to increase value, mitigate issues, and bring solutions that align with the vision of the Advisory leadership team Keep a pulse on industry trends and translate that knowledge into messages, including identifying earned media opportunities and risks, that align to business priorities Create communications using a variety of mediums in multiple voices intended for different audiences At times, business needs arise, and employees are required and agree to work beyond their normal workday or work week to fulfill the accountabilities required for their job. What you bring to the role 10+ years of experience in communications roles, with 5+ years of experience at a senior level, developing strategic internal communications strategies and supporting executive communications Exceptional writing skills with ability to capture leadership voices in an engaging manner Proven media relations experience Excellent executive presence and comfort presenting ideas to senior stakeholders/executives Ability to deliver high-level, professional work quickly Proven project management experience Experience working in a complex matrix-style organizational structure Collaborative approach with the ability to spot and leverage synergies across teams and organizations Detail and deadline oriented Self-directed individual with an eagerness to excel and is accustomed to a fast-paced environment This position requires written and oral fluency in English Experience in high growth industries, advisory services or capital markets is an asset.
