Responsibilities Designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud support across multiple cloud platforms to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability. Partnering with internal teams and vendors to ensure service levels, security, and compliance standards are met. Leading problem resolution for complex cloud issues and critical incidents, minimizing downtime and impact on operations. Implementing automation tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and reliability of cloud operations. Governing cloud operations by establishing best practices, managing vendors, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Collaborating with engineering and security teams to design and maintain secure cloud infrastructure, aligning with security policies and standards. Lead strategy and direction and drive excellence in the Cloud Operations space. Lead the execution of PepsiCo’s technology strategy and vision with an emphasis on delivering transformational change while using an agile organizational model to drive IT Cloud Operations objectives in alignment with overall Business and IT Strategy. Plan, run and manage enterprise Cloud operations including strategies, plan development, plan exercising, and manage related IT budgets, annual program agendas, and recovery improvement metrics. Oversee the health of our production environments through operational leadership of our external and cloud technology platforms. Qualifications With strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity while juggling multiple priorities and projects at the same time. 20+ years of experience in cloud operations, with a focus on SRE or related roles. Expertise in designing and implementing cloud support strategies across multiple cloud platforms. Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes). In-depth knowledge of cloud security principles, best practices, and compliance standards. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing cross-functional teams and external vendors. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholder.
