Þscription The Respiratory Therapy Clinical Manager coordinates critical care delivery with the collaboration of physicians and nursing, provides clinical mentoring, orientation and performance management, and participates in quality assurance monitoring. Responsibilities 1.Coordinates (and provides) service delivery of critical care for Respiratory Therapy based on a collaborative practice with physicians and nursing. 2.Responsible for supervisory coverage on weekends and holidays. 3.Performs clinical teaching for therapists, nursing, students and residents on a continual basis. 4.Evaluates the performance and clinical competence of Respiratory Therapists and related subordinate staff. 5.Orients new staff members. 6.Responsible for quality assurance monitoring for both the Respiratory Therapy department and nursing, with dotted-line direct report to Quality Assurance. 7.Participates in the creation and revision of policies and procedures for Respiratory Therapy and Nursing departments. 8.Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associates Degree; Bachelors or higher degree preferred 3+ years as Respiratory Therapist, with some supervisory experience preferred. The salary range for this role is $72,473.00 - $108,709.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need.
