Define technology roadmap for GSC NAM Plants and Suppliers Drive projects to upgrade the technology being used by GSC NAM Plants and Suppliers in the area of manufacturing of parts & subassemblies i.e. High-Speed Stamping, Multi-slide Technology, Welding and Molding; to improve efficiency and productivity Optimize the parts & subassembly manufacturing processes used by our plants and suppliers Drive the key projects of strategic outsourcing of parts and subassemblies from our plants in line with our industrial strategy Ensure we have adequate capacity for manufacturing of all critical parts & subassemblies consumed by GSC NAM Support plants in assessment and development of their competencies to make then capable of managing the critical automated processes in the plant efficiently Be the lead interlocutor from GSC NAM for specific projects being done in other regions to support GSC NAM Animate the Edison expert community in GSC NAM and help them connect with global experts in their domain to help local Edison Experts to raise their level and to help them develop their network Be a key contributor & collaborator to challenge and drive the industrial performance of GSC NAM plants and suppliers Qualifications This job might be for you if You fit the following Requirements: Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience in precision high speed automated manufacturing environment Deep understanding of precision manufacturing processes and project management Need experience in driving strong & successful execution of projects Strong leadesrship Transformation of our industrial footprint and change management Successful completion of projects on time and within budget Experience with CAPEX and OPEX Knowledge of: High speed stamping, Multi-slide process (e.g. Bhiler), Welding, In-die welding and tapping, Thermoplastic & Thermoset Molding, Overmolding, Surface treatment, Heat treatment of parts Knowledge of cost estimation for tools, machines & parts SupplyChain knowledge (Supplier Management, Cost analysis, Market analysis, In-ventory Management, etc.) Advanced Englsih & Spanish (fluent or native) Schedule: Full-time Req: 008XZ1
