Procurement Sourcing Leader – Tijuana, MX Join our dynamic Procurement team and play a key role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives for one of the world’s leading industrial organizations. We are looking for a Procurement Sourcing Leader who will optimize cost, develop sourcing strategies, and strengthen supplier partnerships across our cluster. What Will You Do? Implement the cluster purchasing strategy and support cost‑reduction initiatives across assigned categories. Identify and propose cost‑saving opportunities (e.g., value engineering, supplier changes, negotiations) aligned with purchasing goals. Maintain accurate purchasing data through continuous and timely updates to internal systems. Support commodity management activities including supplier consultation, selection, and contract negotiation (pricing, lead times, payment terms, inventory levels, etc.). Lead or support supplier qualification processes in the plant according to the established responsibility matrix. (Requirements) Education Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field. Experience 3–5 years of experience in Purchasing, Strategic Sourcing, or Project Management in a manufacturing/industrial environment. Experience working with SAP (preferred). Exposure to manufacturing or engineering processes (preferred). Technical Knowledge Strong understanding of supply chain fundamentals (supplier management, cost analysis, market analysis, inventory management). Experience with categories such as: Sheet metal fabrication Plastics Insulation Fasteners Cable/Wire Ferrous / Non‑ferrous materials Solid knowledge of financial concepts related to procurement. Basic understanding of quality systems and supplier evaluation. High proficiency in Excel; database management is a plus. Soft Skills & Competencies Strong negotiation, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and collaborate in cross‑functional teams. Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. Highly organized, with strong attention to detail. Results-oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.
