Flexibility in scheduling is a key requirement for this position Responsibilities Conducting pre/post-trip truck inspections to ensure proper and safe handling conditions Involved in preparing daily route trucks with accurate product selection following pre-printed pick sheets Verifying order accuracy prior to delivery Safely transporting product to and from a specified location, in a pre-determined sequence Loading and unloading product to and from box trucks Completing required paperwork (Daily driver logs, Signature of Receipts, etc.) Verifying and retrieving all carton returns, product returns, and other return items Sort, tie and stack cardboard, as well as conduct physical inventories as required Interacting with customers, sales team, and warehouse personnel on a daily basis Ability to deliver business results by meeting and exceeding target goals Complying with all DOT and NSC regulations Qualifications Valid G Class Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract Experience with a 5-ton vehicle considered an asset Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to complete routes safely in all weather conditions Ability to handle high-pressure situations
