JOB PURPOSE: The New Products Planning Manager will support launch readiness (i.e. business case development, opportunity sizing, launch readiness activities) across TAs and assets for the Canadian enterprise. You will lead cross-functional teams through a variety of launch preparation activities, also working with regional and global stakeholders where appropriate. RESPONSIBILTIES: This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following… Demonstrate an agile mindset, fearless collaboration, and an appetite for ongoing learning Collaborate with cross functional colleagues to develop innovative preliminary brand plans, including TA team structure, resourcing/scenario planning, brand investment requirements, forecast/ patient flow, pivotal challenges, brand strategies, patient flow, preliminary forecast, and critical success factors Develop robust forecasts and P&L to support opportunity assessment: work cross-functionally and/or with vendors to refine ambiguity and improve assumptions, conduct sensitivity analyses, understand key drivers Contribute to situational analyses and market landscape maps, including disease area, therapeutic options, clinical trial overview, customers, competitors and PSP assessments Guide local market research, to both qualify and quantify Canadian market specifics Partner seamlessly with medical and GAMA to develop Canadian launch plans; provide broad go to market recommended approach, including launch timing Identify key patient organizations & other key stakeholders in collaboration with Patient Affairs team Liaise with global and GCI colleagues, identifying and communicating areas unique to the Canadian market early and contributing to global plan where appropriate Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 3-5 years of commercial pharmaceutical experience (prior roles in marketing, market access, new products are an asset) Strong analytical skills; resourceful to quantify ambiguity and understand / articulate the impact on forecasts Excellent communication skills – strength in distilling complex problems down to critical components and articulating decision criteria Strategic thinking and problem solving skills; ability to plan and prioritize workload, while “launching” and influencing to drive a culture of high performance on the cross functional team Experience across multiple therapeutic areas (General Practitioner, Specialty, Oncology) Strength in challenging both self and status quo Self-motivated, agile, fearless collaborator, passionate, committed, innovation-focus, invested in the business
