Summary AJANTA CONSULTING Las Vegas, NV THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD The Medical Service Corps Administrator shall provide Medical Service Corps Administrator/Project Management in support of United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) Center for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills (CSTARS) Las Vegas in collaboration with University Medical Center (UMC) facility. Provides a wide range of support in medical and non-medical logistics, resources, facilities, systems, and human resource management. Responsibilities Works closely with the En-route Care Training Department administrative team and provides administrative support for all cadre members assigned to the En-route Care Training Department. CSTARS Las Vegas is a training platform partnered with University Medical Center that provides clinical medical readiness training for DoD medical personnel. Provides a wide range of support in medical and non-medical logistics, resources, facilities, systems, and human resource management. Coordinates all financial, contract(s), security, and Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) issues. Balances workload and provides overall direction and vision to staff on a wide range of administrative issues. Responsible for the budgetary operations necessary to support the CSTARS training program and the assigned personnel. Formulates, coordinates, consolidates budgetary strategies and briefs/obtains leadership approval of all course objectives. Oversees organizational policies, objectives, and initiatives intended to optimize Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) wide mission support. Completes, oversees, and coordinates all credentialing paperwork received from the Academic Operations Division/En-Route Care Training Department or other Department of Defense (DoD) sites in preparation for upcoming classes. Completes, oversees, and coordinates with the onsite credentialing department to ensure paperwork is in order prior to class start date. Facilitates informational tours for visiting dignitaries, public organizations, and internal/external persons interested in the Center’s activities. This may involve coordinating parking, reserving meeting rooms, refreshments, and refining itineraries with other departments. Updates and reviews annually the Training Affiliation Agreements (TAAs) and Memoranda of Agreement (MOAs & MOUs) with all civilian universities/military organizations, which require significant coordination with each legal division(s) and the United States Air Force. Provides leadership and tracking aspects of Air Force level operations including readiness and healthcare services. Administrative management service-oriented tasks: answering the office phones, typing, filing, building and maintaining simple databases, ordering office supplies, constructing training and in processing packets for all students. Assist faculty with student registration on the first day of class (to include, badge procurement, and/or other required administrative paperwork to the Academic Operations Division) and will assist as needed during out processing on the final day of class. Coordinates staff meetings with the Course Director and keep record of the minutes. Assist in coordinating information and taskings to the En-Route Care Training Department by their required deadlines. Assist with administering end of course critiques including scanning to USAFSAM and/or manually entering results. Oversees record management program. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in field related to medical education and training and/or education administration. Master’s Degree preferred. Mininum two (2) years of experience in the field or in a related area(s). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Possess excellent interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills. Proficient with word processing software and SharePoint applications. Knowledge and understanding of applicable Air Force and professional standards is mandatory. Knowledge of military and civilian guidelines that govern policy and procedure, successful completion of USAFSAM's and Department's orientation programs is required. Ability to create Word documents, spreadsheets using Excel Program, and presentations using PowerPoint.
