Roles involves the maintenance and upkeep of bank facilities including new branch construction, remodels, improvements, relocations, and closures while working with the vendors to ensure tasks are completed timely and the project is completed to budget. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with building maintenance needs Coordinate vendors to be onsite for facilities request from branches Coordinate the annual inspections with a licensed inspector Prioritize facility requests Assist team manager as needed Repair and maintenance of all Bank facilities as needed or required Conduct preventative maintenance; Recommend maintenance needs, improvement Interact with branch personnel on resolving facility needs Perform maintenance duties including, but not limited to; plumbing, painting, carpentry and electrical work Occasionally assemble structural bank equipment (i.e.. carts, chairs, bulletin boards etc.) Move and arrange desks, furniture and partitions as needed Maintain and manage an annual furniture, fixture, IT needs, and equipment upgrade plan to help with annual capital expense planning; Maintain an inventory of fixed assets. Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control About You QUALIFICATIONS: Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalency. Two or more years of maintenance experience; preferably in a large commercial building environment. Knowledge of and experience in all areas of maintenance, plumbing, painting, carpentry and electrical work. Possess a valid driver’s license Knowledge, Skill, Ability: Excellent Communication Skills both verbal and written to maintain a heavy volume of correspondence, personal contact, and telephone communication. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality Strong interpersonal skills, using considerable tact, diplomacy, and judgment. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. Ability to work independent of daily supervision Good problem-solving skills and ability to react quickly to respond to arising problems. Ability to work effectively customers, vendors, and employees Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The lifting requirements for this position: exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Working Conditions: Must be able to routinely perform work both indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level, outside in sometimes inclement weather, or potentially difficult/hazardous conditions. Must be capable of up to 50% travel (e.g. 2 weeks or 10 days per month) by automobile (as driver and passenger), commercial airlines, rental vehicles and public transportation and be able to lodge in public facilities. Travel will be necessary to conduct the duties of this job, and the employee must have the ability to drive and have proper licensing.
