Instrumentation Engineer - Geleen, Netherlands

Contract Duration: Initial 12-month contract working via Leap29, after the 12 months there is a potential permanent position.

Proficiency in English (both written and spoken); Dutch language skills are a plus.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join a leading organisation in the nitrogen fertilisers and melamine production industry. As an Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced instrumentation systems within production facilities.

This dynamic position involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure instrumentation systems adhere to the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency. You will work in a day-shift schedule as part of the Engineering team supporting three plant units and report directly to the Instrumentation, Systems & Electrical Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain instrumentation systems to optimise production efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to meet technical and operational requirements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system performance and reliability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor& 39;s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in instrumentation, ideally in the chemical process industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical information effectively.
• Proficiency in Dutch is mandatory.
• Familiarity with industry norms and standards is essential.
• Knowledge of electrical installations is a plus but not required.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.
