Chronos Operations (CO) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chenega Corporation, an Alaska Native Corporation based in Anchorage, AK. Belonging to the Military, Intelligence, and Operations Support (MIOS) Strategic Business Unit (SBU), Chronos has a culture rooted in integrity, respect, and exceptional performance. Chronos is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, and provides mission-critical services in Advanced Analytics & AI, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Intelligence. The Human Resources Manager shall assist the F-16 Systems Program Office (SPO) with human resources activities about the F-16 Operational Flight Programs and avionics modification. Responsibilities Lead site human resources activities. Work with the Program Manager to establish individual development plans for employees and the Chief Technical Officer (and other Corporate Technical SMEs) to assign aligned coaches/mentors and training. Work with management to address performance concerns and through training plans or personnel corrective actions. Design approaches to communications with employees to optimize engagement and foster a culture of trust. Establish rewards and incentive programs to foster employee morale. Support business development activities as required (e.g., customer technical capabilities briefings, past performance content, technical solutions). Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred in Human Resources or related field. High school diploma or GED equivalent instead of a degree with 7+ years of experience. 5+ years of experience demonstrating a proven track record of managing and resolving complex employee relations matters, project management, and employee team building. Must have experience with engaging and consulting with senior leaders to provide business and people-focused solutions. Must have experience with policies, procedures, training, compensation, benefits, performance, talent management, recruiting, resource management, or diversity, equity, and inclusion. Background check required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to meet minimum security requirements. Must be a U.S. citizen. Ability to show functional expertise, including policies, procedures, training, compensation, benefits, performance management, recruiting, and resource management Ability to show leadership agility, judgment, and influence Ability to position yourself as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and peers Strong knowledge of laws and regulations related to employee relations including but not limited to anti-discrimination/harassment, wage and hour, Fair Labor Standards Act, business ethics, and other federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ability to make well-reasoned and timely decisions based on careful, objective review and informed analysis of available considerations and factors. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to travel up to 10%.
