Overview & Responsibilities Are you a current Junior or Senior in college that is seeking an Internship or Coop opportunity with a Finance, Business Administration and Analytics Focus? If so, then look no more! Republic Finance is seeking Interns for our Financial Planning and Analysis team! In this role, the intern will have the opportunity to learn about various business metrics and drivers to efficiently grow and improve returns on our $2 billion portfolio. You will have the opportunity to evaluate investments and improve operations and productivity to increase revenue, optimize operating expense and increase EBITDA. They will also have opportunity to work closely with product, risk, operations and technology to incorporate various business initiatives and growth scenarios and create proforma financial models to present the best long term strategic forecasts and opportunities to executive management. This position will report to the Manager of FP&A and will be based out of our office in Plano, TX. *Please note that this job is 2 or more days onsite (depending on experience). Requirements Pursuing a major in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration with additional focus on Analytics, or have professional experience in the above mentioned areas. Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or above. Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capabilities, strong interpersonal communication skills, and involvement in professional/community/extracurricular activities. Ability to work cross functionally, understand and communicate complex concepts, bring business insights, and produce tangible results. Advanced user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Hyperion/Oracle/Essbase/PBCS and PowerBI/Tableau Familiarity with financial modeling and forecasting, P&L simulation as well as operational and financial performance tracking. Strong communication and presentation skills (in one on one or large group settings) Strong problem solving & decision quality skills with a high level of initiative and intellectual curiosity to quickly learn new concepts Depending on the candidate's experience with job duties, willingness to work from our Plano office two or more days a week. Candidates with less experience will be required to work from the office more frequently. Must meet acceptable standards for our employment credit check, criminal background check, and drug screen.
