Position Title: Consultant - SC Advanced Analytics, Data and Insights Function/Group: Logistics Country: India Location: Mumbai (Powai) Job Band & Pay Grade Experienced Professional & 55 Job Type: Full time Role Reports to: Senior Manager, SC Advanced Analytics – Data and Insights Geographical Scope of the Role - Location: Global Percentage of travel required: 10-20% Job Overview This role is responsible and accountable for leading at least one Supply Chain Business Pillar for the development of business intelligence capabilities. This involves the accountability of building scalable, sustainable solutions and capabilities that drive insights and thus enabling business growth in the respective pillar(s). This involves working closely with NAR Strategy team, International COE and SC Pillar team, segment (PET) and D&T team members to design and implement solutions as per the business needs. The incumbent is expected to execute and permeate best practices within the team around Google Data Cloud and visualization and capability scaling by bringing strong technical acumen across these technologies. Job Responsibilities 30% of Time Strategic Responsibilities: - Responsible for development of business intelligence initiatives across at least one pillar acting as a SME for the respective SC business pillar. - Develop a detailed solution design / architecture or re-engineer an existing business intelligence capability, via effective partnership with business and development teams. - Evaluate and recommend appropriate solutions based on business needs and constraints. - Provide thought leadership on continuous process improvement initiatives within the team. - Provide thought leadership and execute key strategic efforts undertaken by the team around technical roadmap development and executing modern technology adoption. 50% of Time Stakeholder Management – - Translate Business requirements into Technical Requirements for the Development team and play key role to develop technical architectures and prototypes for initiatives. - Act as a primary solution lead for technical capability development and be accountable for technical ownership and governance mechanisms. - Organize and lead design reviews, feedback sessions and training sessions with stakeholders to ensure business needs are satisfied and support operational integration of the solutions. - Achieve Service Excellence for the projects. Project & Process Management – - Lead Pillar wide initiatives and across multiple pillars based on scope. - Lead requirement gathering and project scoping for the initiatives. - Develop technical architectures and prototypes for initiatives through coordination within and across teams incl. business and Ops Supply Chain teams. - Be responsible & accountable for operational practices under the Agile Project Management structure. - Taking measures to ensure the projects adhere to the SLAs and quality metrics tracked by the team. - Manage project documentation and sustainability frameworks. 20% of Time Other responsibilities- - Lead new tech stack assessments and POC development. Co-own technical roadmap execution of the team. E.g.: Looker / Python capability development etc. - Deliver training to the team around tools like Google Cloud Platform, Tableau, AFO and ERP tools. - Mentor new team members and participate in giving training. - Audit and improve on-boarding processes with aim to improve hire to contribute TAT. - Introspect and identify key opportunities for self-development and work with team leaders to undertake appropriate training. - Ensure robust and best in class project management standards. - Technical & Personal development through attending training - Build Technical Governance framework for the team. Desired Profile (Describe the expectations from the candidate) Education Minimum Degree Requirements: Bachelors Preferred Degree Requirements: Masters Preferred Major Area of Study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, MSc IT, Required Professional Certifications: Preferred Professional Certifications: Agile Project Management / PMP /Six Sigma / Tableau / GCP / Looker / CPIM, CSCP Experience Minimum years of related experience required: 4+ years Preferred years of related experience: 6+ years Specific Job Experience or Skills Needed Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: - Minimum 4+ years of work experience with demonstrated project and people leadership skills technology and project implementation. (Preferably in Supply Chain) - Demonstrated Technical Expertise in Data ETL and visualization best practices, Data engineering, Cloud technology, Descriptive/ Diagnostic Analytics, and Intermediate Statistics - Tools – Google cloud platform, Tableau, Looker, Python Dash - Good conceptual and creative problem-solving skills, ability to work with considerable ambiguity. - Good understanding of Project management practices. - Skills to prioritize and complete multiple tasks on tight deadlines. - Executive presence - Ability to interact with cross functional leaders and present and challenge new ideas. - Ability to explain models with help of feature importance and building blocks. - Ability to build strong, collaborative working relationships with business partners. Explores and shares innovative best practices with others. Additional Information - This position reports to the Sr. Manager, the Supply Chain Analytics group.
