Wipro Financial Outsourcing Services Ltd (WFOSL) is looking for a Risk and Compliance Consultant with previous experience of advising and supporting financial services firms through system developments and changes. This is a new role which will be at the heart of the transformation agenda for the organisation. The role will have a primary focus on leading the compliance and risk oversight for our transformation projects, whilst also contributing to the wider development of our transformation services proposition. About Wipro Financial Outsourcing Services Ltd (WFOSL): Wipro Financial Outsourcing Services Ltd. (WFOSL) is a separate legal entity, authorised by the FCA and has been set up by Wipro to provide regulated outsourcing services within the Financial Services industry. Our client is a leading life and pensions provider and Wipro, supported by WFOSL will be providing technology solutions to streamline their current processes, thereby improving customer experience and achieving processing efficiencies. Your Responsibilities: As a Risk and Compliance Consultant – Transformation you will: Help set guidance and implement procedures for the smooth implementation of upcoming transformation projects Advise on proposed development designs in a constructive way Provide support to those implementing transformation projects To maintain an awareness of all regulatory changes that may affect transformation projects and to disseminated to Project Owners as early as possible Advise the business on regulatory interpretation as required on a day-to-day basis Internally promote an understanding of the regulatory framework, specifically in relation to the needs of customers Liaise with client and internal stakeholders to manage the transformation projects. Mandatory Skills: Previous experience of advising on compliance and risk matters impacting IT development projects and their implementation Previous experience of a broad range of regulated financial products and services including but not limited to money purchase pensions and retail investments Qualifications: At least Degree Level / equivalent Relevant industry qualifications (e.g. awarded by CISI, CII, PMI) Desirable Skills & Knowledge: Expert regulatory knowledge and then how regulation applies across relevant business activities and oversight of such Ability to work without supervision and under pressure Efficient and well organised Strong communication skills both written and verbal Credible and assertive manner Discretion, tact and resilience Professional manner with the ability to influence and persuade Must be a skilled communicator and able to deal with a wide variety of internal stakeholders and financial regulator Application of Individual Conduct Rules: Standard of conduct is reasonable under all circumstances relating to: Must act with integrity Must act with due skill, care and diligence Must be open and cooperative with the FCA and other regulators Must pay due regard to the interests of customers and treat them fairly Must observe proper standards of market conduct Your Benefits: Risk and Compliance Consultant – Transformation, you will receive a competitive salary, a generous benefits package and training and development in areas to help you improve.
