Overview Do you have strong collaboration and customer service skills? Are you interested in providing comprehensive support to the HR and Labor Relations department at our Manufacturing Center in Richmond, VA? If so, then we want to speak with you! We are currently seeking an Associate Specialist, HR and Labor Relations to join our Human Resources team at our Manufacturing Center in Richmond, VA. The Associate Specialist, HR and Labor Relations provides onsite support, coordination and execution of the day-to-day human resources, labor, and employee relations processes for all core businesses across all manufacturing facilities. This position must collaborate effectively with colleagues, business leaders and other HR centers of excellence, including HR Direct, Compensation, Benefits and Talent Acquisition to successfully resolve HR related issues and support related talent and culture initiatives. What you will be doing: Serve as a main point of contact for all walk-in traffic at the Manufacturing Center with high-quality and professional customer service. Act as a liaison and connect employees to the best resource to resolve all matters. Interact with manufacturing employees on HR & Labor Relations processes and procedures with the ability to answer questions and provide advice to employees on matters ranging from grievances and disputes, routine contract provisions, benefits, and employee self-service in HR Central. Administer the grievance process, including classifying and recording grievances in the tracker, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with management, security and union leadership as required. Establish and manage a new electronic document management system for all grievances, arbitrations, memorandums of understandings, etc. Partner with the Leave Management team, and the onsite medical department to resolve issues related to leaves of absence, including restrictions and accommodation requests. Collaborate with HR Direct to process wage-related requirements, including COLA increases, general wage increases, rate progression administration, pay adjustments, etc. Support the planning and execution of core HR people processes and initiatives (Talent Planning, Org Review, I&D/Culture, Employee Engagement) and Labor Relations (Contract Negotiations and Arbitrations). Partner with People Analytics to generate periodic org health reports and/or analysis for manufacturing leadership to include data such as separations, leaves of absence, disciplinary action, grievances, engagement survey results, etc. Partner with the PM USA Training and Communications team and other key stakeholders for onboarding for salaried and hourly positions. Assist with or perform other labor and HR-related duties as assigned. We want you to have: Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field desired and/or equivalent experience. Working understanding of HR & labor relations processes and procedures. At least two years of related experience is preferred. SHRM-CP credential preferred. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and personal employee information, data, and materials, and exercise extreme discretion while adhering to compliance procedures and processes. Ability to demonstrate the highest levels of integrity and good judgment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to successfully build and manage relationships to influence and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a fast-paced and at times stressful environment. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, Success Factors, Work brain, or related time and attendance software. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and on the floor of a manufacturing environment. Will be required to work on-site at the Manufacturing Center and Park 500 and during other shifts to support manufacturing efforts. The Salary Range for this position is: $68,700.00 - $100,950.00 / annually.
