Handle Recruitment is working alongside a leading television company, in recruiting an accounts assistant. The role will sit within a dynamic accounting function and report directly into the Management Accountant and Financial Controller. As well as working on transnational accounting procedures you will also assist closely with various month end and analytical duties.

The overall responsibility will be assisting in the smooth running of the Accounts Department, including but not limited to:

• Assisting with Month End procedures
• Month end reporting and ad hoc reporting duties
• Financial Analysis as and when required
• Purchase Ledger
• Sales Ledger
• Bank Recs
• Company Expenses

We are looking for someone who is competent, self-motivated & trustworthy and who also has a bright and enthusiastic personality. You will be of graduate calibrec(2:1 or above) in a numerical subject (Accounting Finance / Maths for example) and have a desire to study for a professional qualification (ACA /ACCA/ CIMA) Full study support is provided.

The successful candidate will have had practical experience in an accounting function and office environment - Media/Entertainment industry is desirable but not essential. Computer literacy should include an excellent working knowledge of Excel.
