Position Summary You will lead the Business Intelligence function in India to help shape insights, guide decisions and drive performance. You will build and develop a skilled analytics team. Job Purpose: To help GSK have best quality performance measurement and insight gathering from internal and external data to support profitable growth agenda of the Local Operating Country Key Responsibilities: Apply analytics and business acumen to diagnose external sales performance issues, data issues, and generate insights along with recommendations to demonstrably influence business decisions and outcomes (leveraging on external benchmarks such as IQVIA data and market research studies). Leverage modern data visualization and analytics technologies to create dynamic business dashboards to effectively communicate and bring key insights to life for stakeholders. Promote the use of high-quality data and support a culture of fact-based decision-making in Marketing and Commercial teams by building capabilities and provide guidance and training to the community in visualization, analytics tool usage and data understanding. Stay abreast of Business Intelligence products and tools as well as business strategies and direction. Provide advisory to senior leaders and key stakeholders on in optimizing business performance management through reporting, analytics, and insight-generation. Highlight relevant insights from Marketing Mix Modelling analysis to give leads to commercial leaders on how to improve ROI and effectiveness of their brand strategies to win against the competition. Work with Tech to design, develop, and deploy dashboards and analytics reports for business units and senior leaders. Query data from database systems to provide ad-hoc project and analyses, insights, and recommendations for various stakeholders. Implement the governance and principles behind management of secondary data Manage scope of work in accordance to GSK ethics & compliance and legal remit. Oversee Budgets, forecasting and audit Educational Background: MBA or Advanced Degree in Statistics Direct experience in a business partner/ commercial pharma role is an added advantage Job Related Experience: 7-10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, particularly in leading business analytics initiatives and execution. Direct experience in performing analytics and data visualizations involving business data and communicating insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders. In-depth knowledge of either of the platforms Power BI, QlikSense, QlikView, Tableau, R, Python. High level of intellectual curiosity and learning agility to quickly understand new business problems and concepts. Ability to lead the development of new solutions to meet requirements and when appropriate, suggest new approaches to problem solving and make data-driven business recommendations Other Job-Related Skills/Background: Experience in automation of existing systems Knowledge of Azure platform Why GSK?
