Security Lead

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for Security Lead on a 4x4 rotational basis for one of our projects located in Iraq. <br><br><b>Primary Role:</b> <br><br><ul><li> Report security activity progress to the Security Operations Manager and the business line </li><li> Participate in Stakeholder meetings, as required </li><li> Mentoring / knowledge transfer to Site Security Contacts (SSC) and WQ1 FOD BOC Security national staff </li><li> Coordinate activities with SSCs for security related issues </li><li> Provide oversight (QA/QC) for security contractors </li><li> Implement Journey Management for EMIL personnel </li><li> Participate in the Incident Management Team </li><li> Participate in the Security Working Group meetings </li><li> Lead Contractor Safety Workshops </li><li> Lead contract and bid tender and approval process </li><li> Act as Security member on Incident Management Team </li><li> Develop / provide security awareness training and training on Voluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights </li><li> Conduct verification checks on all security process, procedures including technical and physical security programs </li><li> Provide input into site and facility security plans and develop the Site Security Activity Plans for supported sites </li><li> Coordinate and participate in Security Surveys and review for thoroughness </li></ul><br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>Qualifications:</b> <br><ul><li> Military or Police background </li><li> 5 years of experience in the oil industry<br> </li></ul><br><br><b>Skills:</b> <br><br><ul><li> Background in Security Management Systems </li><li> Leadership/supervisor skills </li><li> Prefer knowledge of ExxonMobil corporate Recommended Practices and OIMS guidelines </li><li> Ability to present security information to management and employees </li><li> Interaction with all levels of operations and management </li><li> Initiative / planning / organization skills </li><li> Problem solving / analytical skills </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
