<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>WPI is Providing an Electronic Security System (ESS) as described and shown in the contract documents including installation of any Government Furnished Equipment. All computing devices, as defined in 47 CFR 15, shall be certified to comply with the requirements for Class A computing devices and labeled as set forth in 47 CFR 15. The ESS shall interoperate with the CCTV system as a combined Integrated Electronic Security System (IESS) and annunciate alarms and monitor at the Security Control Center (SCC), the Alternate Security Control Center (ASCC) and the CSMC/CCS. <br><br>The system shall be Federal Information Processing Standards 201 compliant and have a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) certification by an independent testing laboratory. Entry control and intrusion detection equipment, hardware and software, shall only be selected from the latest US Air Force HQ USAF/A7S Non-Nuclear Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Equipment Approval list. Obtain latest Non-Nuclear Intrusion Detection System (IDS) Equipment Approval list from the Contracting Officer's technical representative. <br><br>The IP video surveillance and management system shall be installed in conjunction with an Electronic Security System (ESS) and shall be interfaced with the ESS. <br><br><b> IESS INSTALLATION SPECIALIST POSITION DESCRIPTION </b><br><br>Wood Programs, Inc. (WPI) is seeking an <b>Electrical & Integrated Electronic Security Systems Installation Specialist </b>with a strong Instrumentation & Controls background to provide installation and installation management on a large international construction project on behalf of the US Government in Poland. This position will be responsible for performing all field work to provide redline information on the installed facilities to the redline team. The redlining process will also include confirming that work by others conforms to the approved shop drawings and creating corrective actions plans for self-performing the corrections when it does not. Responsible for the installation of all IESS low-voltage systems and correction of work done by others. Must be able to work from verbal direction and from provided drawings. <br><br>Key Responsibilities: <br><ul><li> Manages the development and maintenance of the As-Built drawing records (AutoCAD drawings done by others) </li></ul><ul><li> Verify that the subcontractor's record drawings (redlines) are current </li><li> Provides input to Project Manager and Construction Manager for subcontractor invoice review </li></ul><ul><li> Inspects incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests; rejects and returns unacceptable materials </li><li> Generates daily report for construction activities and work completed </li><li> Ensures compliance with the specifications, drawings and standards </li><li> Assures that the Work conforms to Contracts Documents </li><li> Conducts spot surveillance of all craft disciplines to assure high quality standards of workmanship are maintained </li><li> Interacts closely with the Contractors field personnel to resolve field issues </li><li> Generates Safe Plans of Action </li><li> Provides input to Project Manager and Construction Manager for contract change orders, submittal responses, and RFI responses </li><li> Works with QC team to keep the record of construction deficiencies and punch list items updated </li><li> Attend progress meetings as requested </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Key Qualifications / Requirements: <br><ul><li> Must have familiarity and working knowledge of large low- and medium-voltage security and/or communications systems (up to 230VAC European) </li><li> Familiarity with Honeywell Vindicator security systems is a plus </li><li> Familiarity with USACE Quality Assurance Process is a plus </li><li> Must maintain a physical presence and will be performing installation and correction or low voltage (up to 24V) electrical wiring. </li><li> Communicate effectively with DoD clients and multi-cultural staff and subcontractors </li><li> Interface with on-site Construction Management and offsite Project Management </li><li> Must have a minimum of 10 years' experience as a low voltage to medium voltage technician </li><li> International experience is a plus </li><li> Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills </li><li> Must have strong written and spoken communication skills (English) </li><li> Ability to obtain a USG Secret Clearance require </li></ul><br> Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
