Principal Security Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Security Engineer to work in AL Khobar, SA <br><br><ul><li> The successful candidate should have a proven track record of working on FEED & EPC projects for oil & gas facilities </li><li> Experience of working on Saudi Aramco projects as PMC to support the client would be beneficial </li><li> Provide telecommunication discipline expertise in support of the client's team for the FEED engineering of the petrochemical facilities </li><li> Should be able to work independently </li><li> Co - ordinate with other disciplines to complete the telecommunications design </li><li> Be commercially aware and conscious of contractual issues as per Wood guidelines </li><li> Full knowledge of the following telecommunication systems: LAN network, PABX, CCTV, Radio System, PAGA, Ethernet wireless, SDH / PDH systems and Weather Monitoring Systems, to be able to develop FEED and details engineering specifications </li><li> Design and installation of OSP cabling and communication hardware </li><li> Has enough information on Telecom infrastructure requirement for both security and instrument systems </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> An Engineering degree qualification is essential </li><li> Minimum of 7 years' experience in the industry </li><li> Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant engineering discipline are preferred </li><li> The Communication or Network Engineer shall have a minimum of twelve years' experience in relevant telecommunication and IT work </li><li> Certified designer for outside plant cabling and structural cabling systems or BICSI certified, and a copy of such certification shall be attached to the candidate's resume </li><li> Knowledge of international codes and specs for safety critical systems would be beneficial </li><li> Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status preferred </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
