Electronic Security Technician

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood Programs, Inc. (WPI) is seeking an <b> Electronic Security Technician </b> to join our team in Durham, NC. <br><br>Performs duties concerning the maintenance and repair of electronic physical security systems and components. <br><br><b> Essential Duties and Responsibilities: </b><br><ul><li> Performs airlock inspections and repairs </li><li> Performs gate inspections and minor repairs </li><li> Disables and enable fire system controls, and repairs as required, </li><li> Executes camera inspections and minor repairs, run true alarm reports, </li><li> Assist certified contractor with backflow and fire sprinkler inspections, </li><li> Facilitates fire alarm and sprinkler inspections by ensuring alarms are not activated during inspections, </li><li> Maintains and repairs electronic door strikes and closure repairs, </li><li> Performs handicap door operator, fire door, and rollup door inspections and minor repairs </li><li> Performs inspection and minor repairs for bollard and dock leveler equipment </li><li> Inspects and repairs duress station across a campus </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> High School diploma or equivalent </li><li> 3 years of experience working on commercial and/or industrial electronic security systems </li><li> Licensing and/or certification preferred </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
