Driver / Warehouse Worker

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a <b>Driver / Warehouse Worker</b> to join our team in Durham, NC. <br><br>Key Responsibilities <br><br> The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas: <br><ul><li> Receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, supplies, merchandise, foodstuffs, or tools, and compile stock records of items in stockroom, warehouse or storage yard </li><li> Count, sort, or weigh incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoice </li><li> Examine stock to verify conformance to specifications </li><li> Store articles in bins, on floor or on shelves, according to identifying information, such as style, size or type of material </li><li> Fill orders or issue supplies from stock </li><li> Prepare periodic, special or perpetual inventory of stock </li><li> Requisition articles to fill incoming orders </li><li> Compile reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments </li><li> May mark identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles </li><li> May distribute stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued </li><li> May make adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock </li><li> May cut stock to site to fill order </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br>Role Requirements <br><ul><li> High School Diploma or GED equivalent </li><li> Maintain valid state driver's license </li><li> At least 3 years technical training and/or job related experience </li><li> Ability to work with minimum supervision and with other personnel and crafts </li><li> Ability to work effectively in a service oriented environment subject to changing priorities </li></ul><br> Physical Requirements <br><br> Must be able to: <br><ul><li> Obtain/maintain proper security clearances as condition of employment </li><li> Occasionally work after-hours and on weekends to support customer requirements </li><li> Operate fork lifts </li><li> Lift 50 lbs. as needed </li><li> Walk great distances to perform duties (>1 mi frequently) </li><li> Work outside during adverse weather conditions and extreme cold/heat </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in the delivery of project, engineering and technical services to energy and industrial markets.
