Awarded in August 2021 to the Parsons Team, the TEAMS next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract has a three-year base period plus four one-year options that should take the period of performance through the end of 2028 into 2029. Venturi, LLC has an exciting career opportunity for an Advanced Radar Engineer who will play an important role supporting Missile Defense Agency on the TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering contract. T he system assessment team supports engineering specialist in the assessment of capabilities and limitations of the Missile Defense System (MDS) to enable well informed decisions. In this role you will get to define new capabilities for one of the most advanced Missile Defense Radars for U.S. Warfighters. Responsibilities Work you’ll do As an Advanced Radar Engineer within our TEAMS Next Missile Defense Systems Engineering team, you will: Lead system engineering development tasks and support execution of acquisition strategy in support of concept definition for advanced AN/TPY-2 radar capabilities Provide Systems Engineering expertise and knowledge Provide Systems Engineering analysis and process management Provide independent technical and programmatic assessment Perform requirements development and analysis Identify, analyze, and document system, design, interface, assessment, and validation/verification requirements to include risk assessments and discrepancy reports Collaborate across the MDA organization Present technical information to MDA Leadership at various levels Qualifications Required Skills: 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project MS in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math Knowledge and application of phased array radar theory, function, and design Secret Clearance or higher required Desired Skills: Works independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment Experience with Program Management Experience implementing systems engineering
