Role Purpose The Vice President of Digital Marketing and Customer Experience will lead and execute BJC’s digital marketing strategy to support company growth goals and serve as the internal champion of the customer as BJC executes against business objectives. This strategic and customer obsessed leader will identify and capitalize on ways to leverage digital and customer experience to further create a differentiated positioning that places BJC at the top of the consideration set for new customers while deepening relationships with existing customers. They will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for all digital marketing touch points with robust quantitative and qualitative analytics capabilities. Responsibilities Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. Own, articulate, and execute BJC’s digital marketing strategy as it relates to all customer touch points, including websites, CRM, VoC, social media, and digital advertising. Collaborate closely with other functional areas operating those channels. Develop a deep analytical capability, including behavioral metrics and attitudinal insights from VoC to identify actionable customer insights to serve as the foundation for digital marketing strategy and product development. Identify and capitalize on methods to leverage digital to raise awareness, deepen relationships, and create a differentiated brand experience and positioning that positions BJC at the top of the consideration set. Lead the digital marketing function and establish a customer experience organization to deliver on business outcomes, from acquiring buy-in from senior executives down to execution in functional areas. Lead MarTech evaluation and implementation in support of BJC marketing goals, strategies, and initiatives. Define digital, within the context of the office of the CMCO, to differentiate digital marketing vs. digital or clinical product development. Identify new ways to leverage digital marketing to further business outcomes and customer experience.
