The charity looks to inspire and enable meaningful connections and shared experiences within communities across the UK for people over 75 facing loneliness and social isolation. An exciting opportunity exists for a passionate and driven candidate to join the charity as their new Support and Development Officer. The Support & Development Officer role will work across a range of teams looking at volunteer management, service support and service user experience. This will be a home based role within the UK.
Who are we looking for?
Ideal candidates will be passionate about working for a social cause and will be able to demonstrate this through either paid or unpaid work experience. You will be highly personable and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally. You will be competent using CRM’s, Microsoft packages and reporting internally and have good project management skills. You will also possess great customer service skills; demonstrating empathy and effective query resolution. Knowledge and experience of volunteer management would be an advantage.
