What You'll Be Doing: The Sr. Network Engineer is the hands-on subject matter expert and business process owner to implement, monitor and maintain all company networks. This role has significant influence across business units and brands worldwide. Position will manage the interface with our key vendors to enhance our network infrastructure to provide our users the highest availability and fastest response time to all Samsonite company applications. You will work on-site 4 days per week with the opportunity to work remotely one day per week. Develop, implement, and manage systems network architecture. Research, select, and manage vendors. Internal liaison to IT team and Global partners for all applications. Optimize system and tool performance Monitor and maintain network stability; install and test software upgrades. Control systems access and security. Present to influence IT and Business Executives. Develop and test backup and disaster recovery plans. Troubleshoot our networks, firewalls, and other network equipment. We're Excited If You Have: Minimum Requirements BS/BA related field preferred 7+ years network engineering experience 5+ years of firewall management experience, 3 years of Palo Alto absolutely required 5+ years of WAN/LAN experience.
