About the Role As a SQL Oracle Application Developer, you will be responsible for analysis, design, coding, integration, testing & maintenance of software modules. These software modules are used in the tolling back-office system. Responsibilities Designing, developing, and maintaining complex software programs. Working collaboratively with other members of the project team to ensure timely delivery of high-quality delivery enterprise applications. Consulting with other solution architects, system support teams, database administrators and application teams. Planning and estimating development work needed to implement assigned tasks. Transforming complex requirements into working, maintainable enterprise-level solutions. Performing detailed application design as appropriate. Authoring and maintaining design and technical documentation necessary. Requirements 6+ years' experience in Pro*C, PL/SQL. 3-5 years' experience with database driven, multi-tier software development Oracle. Experience analyzing business requirement documents and convert them into technical specification documents and high-level design documents. Involved in all phases after requirement gathering including creating specifications, development of database objects, developing code and validation programs. Creating PLSQL stored program units such as Procedures, functions, packages and triggers in database. Developing Pro*C batch programs with embedded SQL’s, PLSQL Procedure calls and Dynamic SQL. Developing, enhancing, and fixing processes developed in C to ensure proper integration with SQL code in UNIX environment as necessary. Using SQL*Loader to upload bulk data into database from external files. Coordinating with Crystal reports team and suggest changes according to the modifications done on the underlying data objects. Develop and modify UNIX shell scripts and batch scripts to automate Jobs using CA work load automation. Develop UNIX shell scripts to generate automated Alert Emails about job status. Write test plans for unit testing and work with configuration management team for proper deployment in DEV, QA and Production environments.
