Eni, we are looking for a
Process Engineer within
Groupement Eni Sonatrach in
Algeria. You will provide technical assistance to the Head of Operations to safely achieve production, storage, shipment and reinjection programs for hydrocarbon products.
Your employment contract will be managed by Eni International Resources Ltd (EIRL).
Main responsibilities:
- Participate in pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up operations, and the preparation of procedures for new installations.
- Analyse all data and determine actions to be taken (corrective measures, optimisation proposals, improvements) to identify opportunities to increase production and process operability.
- Participate in HAZOP and HAZID studies for process modification proposals.
- Write specifications for ordering materials and services and respond to various technical offers.
- Participate in the diagnosis and analysis of incidents.
- Prepare schedules and monitor planned revisions and shutdowns.
- Prepare shutdown and start-up procedures and establish permanent instructions and procedures.
- Participate in studies for performance improvements, optimisation and the resolution of technical operational problems.
- Participate in unit modification studies.
- Prepare training programmes (processes and safety) for operations agents.
- Attend safety meetings and emergency drills with operations personnel to ensure their alertness in case of emergency.
- Manage documentation and archives related to the position.
- Participate in establishing safety rules and instructions, and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate in the study of potential hazards and ensure preventive measures.
- Conduct activities in a healthy and safe operational environment.
- Respect the GSA HSE policy and ensure its implementation in activities within your competence and authority.
- Report any anomalies, incidents, accidents and HSE non-compliance to the hierarchy.
- Propose any suggestions for improving the HSE approach to the hierarchy.
Skills and experience required:
- University degree (Bac+5) in Refining, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in the relevant field.
- Training in control systems, rotating machinery, ESD and process simulation.
- In-depth knowledge of unit processes.
- Mastery of HSE standards and procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Strong management skills in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent analytical, synthesis, and proactive abilities.
- Demonstrated initiative and anticipation skills.
