Property Services is a Hampshire County Council in-house team of multi-disciplinary construction professionals and specialist support staff delivering a range of property functions ranging from new build, refurbishments, and extensions through to maintenance and compliance activities. It encompasses the HCC estate and those of our partner organisations and will include schools, offices, libraries, fire stations and police premises.

In this role you will be responsible for the planning and management of the delivery of programmes of planned mechanical engineering services, energy and infrastructure works in order to improve condition and/or mitigate health and safety risks.

You will be the Group leader for the Secondary School team’s Mechanical Engineering Services project engineers delivering and managing the planned maintenance programmes and projects for Hampshire County Council’s Estate, its client groups and Police & Fire services. 

You will ensure standards, resource and workloads are balanced across the wider Operations teams and other departments liaising closely with the Delivery engineering teams to ensure technical consistency.
