The Manager, Commercial Education will support the development of the Global Commercial Training & Development strategy in collaboration with Global Commercial, Retail Ops, Global Education, Regional Sales + Retail Operations as well as HR. They manage the design and evolution of training programs that support the brand strategy for MAC Retail Operations employees worldwide and address learning gaps between business initiatives and team capabilities. Program development is necessary in the areas of Retail Manager onboarding, Leadership Development, Coaching, OMNI Retail Technology, Retail Acumen, Clienteling, Eventing and gifting. They will be accountable for the successful implementation of training programs, the change management associated with deployment, as well as their sustainability and ROI. They will collaborate with members of the Global Education and Global Marketing teams as well as other internal and external subject matter experts to create engaging learning content, as well as Retail Manager led sustain learning tools and experiences that complements & amplifies the brand’s Digital and IRL (classroom and in-store) learning curriculum. The Global Manager, Commercial Education will support the Learning and Development strategy at MAC in 4 keyways: · Ongoing commercial training needs assessment in partnership with Global, Regional and Affiliate stakeholders · Design and implementation of Retail Manager tools and trainings which help to drive Education and Commercial initiatives. · Develop framework, tools and assets that drive the Education activation strategy within our Go-To-Market toolkits. · Support development of all Education tools and assets (Digital and IRL) for our NPL and Evergreen curriculum. Key Responsibilities: Produce and create engaging, innovative content and curriculum that drives MAC commercial learning objectives and brand strategy – (60%) · Lead commercial training needs analysis and program development to maximize MAC’s retail competencies. · Create tools, presentations, facilitator notes, attendee materials, digital and visual assets that can be leveraged across all educational platforms and modalities. · Collaborate with Global Education team to ensure Retail Manager NPL and Evergreen tools integrate seamlessly into Artist learning paths. · Help to gather data, feedback, and insights on commercial learning content as well as key performance metrics which measure success, etc. and apply these insights to continually optimize our overall programs. Produce and create assets that support Commercial Activation strategies and optimize our 5-star programs. (30%) · Lead development of commercial tools and assets across Global, Regional and affiliate partners included in our Activation Briefs, Go-to-market Toolkits and including training decks, speaker notes, visual tools and assets, in-store tools, playbooks, etc. Collaboration & Teamwork – (10%) · Collaborate closely and productively with the Global Education team, Global Commercial and Marketing teams, subject matter. Qualifications Experience Needed · 5+ years of experience in retail execution, implementing and evaluating commercial tactics in a sales and performance driven culture. · People management and retail leadership experience. · Demonstrated proficiency in developing and designing in-store training solutions, training manuals, commercial tools, etc. · Experience implementing and evaluating learning solutions. · Facilitation experience both In-Person and Virtual. Skills Needed · Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Adobe In-Design, Photoshop. · Knowledge of Articulate Storyline and Rise a plus. · Exceptional retail acumen with critical problem-solving skills. · Understanding principles of adult learning, instructional design and learning analytics. · Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with continuous learning mindset. · Strong collaboration, leadership, and stakeholder management skills · Strong graphic design, writing, editing and verbal communication skills with Consumer-centric approach. · Strong presentation/ facilitation skills. · Develops Talent and Capabilities: Identifies and cultivates essential skills and attributes to maximize. individual contribution and engagement. · Builds Collaborative Relationships: Builds relationships based on trust and respect. Learns equally from successes and failures. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $82,500 to $135,500. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
