«out The Role Summary Responsible for overseeing the completion and accuracy of data being entered into the bank operating system for quality control review following the guidelines in the GBCI SOX Control guides. Reviews documents and follows up for corrections when company standards have not been met in accordance with the GBCI standards for new loan and maintenance input. Responsible for review of loan files to determine receipt of all required documents, perfection of collateral and compliance with loan policies and banking regulation. The compensation range for this position is $32.00-$43.00 hourly and will vary depending on what city the applicant works in. All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Verify the input of data for all New Loans and Change in Terms by comparing the system entries to the signed Promissory Note or CIT Document, Credit Authorization and Boarding Data worksheet as well as validating loan codes assigned by the Lender or Credit Department as part of GBCI’s new Loan Report SOX Control LN2c and LN2d. Verify exceptions and/or ticklers have been created properly in Collateral Tracking as needed. Review Loan Transaction Edit Report daily for proper application of posted transactions. Review applicable COGNOS loan maintenance reports for data input accuracy. Communicate daily with the Loan Servicing Team any loan data input errors or loan transaction processing errors to provide resolution and guidance to help eliminate future potential errors in the loan system that could affect the banks relationship with the customers. Assist in the training of Loan Processing team with boarding and maintenance as requested or needed. Complete new loan and maintenance logs to meet the GBCI SOX Control Requirement. Act as the Data Steward for our Division and participate in ongoing meetings to learn about data changes and requirements to ensure we are complying with policies and procedures. Review loan files post boarding to ensure we are in receipt of all required loan documents. Verify all documents requiring recordation have been properly recorded in a timely manner. Communicate any discrepancies or issues discovered while conducting review of loan files to key personnel and assist with error resolution when possible. Keep Department Supervisor and Manager informed of any potential problem areas that arise during the course of performing initial and ongoing quality control review of loan data and loan files. Assist the Department Supervisor and Manager with a variety of quality control audits, including but not limited to closed loans, collateral tracking, and internal/external audit research and resolution as needed. Other Job Functions: Ability to scan documents to Synergy when necessary. Utilize error tracking log to record errors/issues from the boarding and servicing process. Participate in ongoing training courses to keep current with policies, procedures and banking regulations, to include completing BVS Trainings by scheduled time frame. Other duties as assigned About You QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma with minimum experience required. Minimum of three years-experience in a Loan Servicing/Processing, Loan Compliance or Loan Auditing role or a combination thereof. Minimum work experience is required to be in a Commercial Banking environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY: Knowledge and understanding of loan servicing, documentation and collateral perfection of consumer, commercial and real estate loans. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel is required. Knowledge of Jack Henry Silverlake and Laser Pro platforms preferred. Ability to apply logical or critical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple variables. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Demonstrate a high level of organization, ability to prioritize and multi-task with attention to detail and accuracy, manage multiple projects, demonstrate self-motivation and ability to follow through with tasks. Work well under pressure while meeting deadlines. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work performed in an office environment. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
