
The HR Manager will be responsible for providing a first class HR service to support the business needs.
You will develop and implement strategic HR initiatives which will robustly underpin the business and drive it forward through HR initiatives and changes to HR policies and procedures which continually improve organisational effectiveness. You will be on hand to assist with Recruitment as well as Training / Supervision of staff.
HR Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage the work load of the HR Administrator, Payroll and Finance Officer and the Executive Assistant to the MD
- Participation in the in the Strategy meetings, developing the Strategic HR Function of Draycott Nursing.
- Provide leadership and management for HR projects.
- Provide advice and support at all levels within the Organisation, maintaining good employee relations through knowledge of the organisation and an understanding of its objectives.
- Monitoring HR statistics including recruitment, sickness, lateness, annual leave etc.
- Analysing the annual staff survey and communicating and implementing required actions.
- To take individual responsibility to safeguard clients through the recruitment and selection process.
- Manage the performance appraisal system and maintain IIP
HR Manager Requirements:
- HR/CIPD qualification and be willing to undertake further training as required
- Flexibility, the ability to handle many different tasks at once and to be flexible in your approach to the way the task is done.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail, and ability to prioritise and organise work-load.
- Excellent IT skills including knowledge using Microsoft Office applications or similar software programmes as appropriate and good knowledge of our specific software
- The ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with a multidisciplinary team both within the office and externally.
- Willing to work with others for the greater good of the company and able to assist others when necessary.
- Significant HR experience
- Experience with researching and developing HR policy
- Proven track record of giving HR advice at all levels
- Background which includes introducing and managing innovative projects
- Managing the recruitment and selection process
- Experience working within a customer focused environment
- Experience of working within Domiciliary Healthcare (Desirable)
