We are looking for an ambitious, people-focused team player to be an integral part of our leadership team in Knoll Beach Café in Studland.
The Hours: Average of 37.5 hours per week with flexibility needed during peak periods. Unlike most Hospitality jobs there are No Evenings & No Split Shift work required.
The Salary: £27,000 per year
Duration: Permanent.

We’re looking for a like minded Head Chef to lead our experienced kitchen team and help take our offer to the next level. They’ll be leading our experienced and enthusiastic kitchen team to deliver a variety of dishes with the ability to add locally influenced food.
The National Trust are looking to improve the food and drink offer over the coming months and years so if you join us now as a Head Chef you’ll play a vital role in that. Studland and the Isle of Purbeck is steeped in history, but the focus is very much on the future and this is an opportunity to get on board from the beginning. What you'll be doing
Working with the Food & Beverage Management team you'll use your creativity to develop delicious menus, using local produce where available, that adapt to the seasons, to delight visitors with our spirit of place and provide great value for money. You’ll be constantly seeking and developing new income opportunities, working to achieve financial targets and increase margins by minimising waste and controlling costs and resources.
Through effective people management and leadership, and with the National Trust ethos at the forefront of your mind, you’ll motivate the team of staff and volunteers to strive for a culture of exceptional service and make it a great place to work.

Who we're looking for
You need to be;
•An inspirational leader, creative and proactive
•An experienced people manager including setting personal objectives and providing feedback
•Qualified in food preparation and cooking to City & Guilds or NVQ L3 or equivalent
