A career within Risk Assurance Compliance and Analytics services, will provide you with the opportunity to assist clients in developing analytics and technology solutions that help them detect, monitor, and predict risk. Using advanced technology, we’re able to focus on establishing the right controls, processes and structures for our clients to ensure that decisions are based on accurate information and assure that information provided to third parties is accurate, complete, and can be trusted.

As an Associate in FS BRC you will get a wide range of experience across the financial services sector.  We focus on core business risks (i.e. emerging and financial, regulatory and operational risks) and the related mitigation techniques needed to ensure a client’s business strategy can be successful and resilient.

We provide advice and assurance, we support Boards and Executive teams to design, assess and implement risk, regulatory and reporting strategies across the 3 lines of defence. This requires us to help our clients:

• Understand risks and regulation, how to govern and operate within appropriate risk appetite and tolerances and protect their reputations(personal and corporate), and to support their own customers’ needs;

• Design, implement, operate, transform and assure control frameworks – from traditional human intervention controls to sophisticated intelligent digital approaches to support their mitigation and resilience agendas; and

• Focus on delivering and driving change so our clients are fit for today and tomorrow& 39;s environment but also able to provide rapid, insightful information across the business and to external stakeholders. 

• Our clients are not only corporates but wider stakeholders in the economy including the Government and Regulators. This is important to our purpose and values in terms of knowing what we do will reach all parts of society.

As part of our team you will complete a number of cycles of experience through our various Propositions this will develop your skills and knowledge across the industries and capabilities, it will also be an integral role in helping you identify which Proposition you will align to as a Senior Associate.  You’ll be joining a team who will welcome your outlook and knowledge, whilst developing your skill set further within one of the world’s leading professional organisations.

Resposibilties

• Being a member of teams on large and small engagements - working as part of a project team on client sites and day-to-day liaison with clients

• Strong client relationship, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

• Agility – an interest in working in a dynamic environment and on different types of projects

• Understanding of how businesses work to enable relevant and insightful conversations with clients

• The ability to work effectively in different teams for varying periods of time building good working relationships with both colleagues and client personnel at all levels;

Essential Skills

An ambitious and enthusiastic member of the team, with the ability to communicate with people from a range of backgrounds at any level or grade. We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, who can think on their feet, and apply their knowledge in a fast moving working environment.
