30548 - CONTRACTING OFFICER

At Eni, we are looking for a Contracting Officer (m/f) within Eni S.p.A. in Brussels, Belgium. You will be a member of the Market Coordination team, reporting to the Contracting Manager.

As a member of the Portfolio Management and Trading department, you will be responsible for:

• Drafting gas sales contracts for European markets (Benelux and French market) and amending them in order to implement specific customer& 39;s requests.
• Participating as contracting officer and expert to internal ICT projects, to develop and update sales contract schemes and models within the internal offering systems.
• Constant interfacing with all company internal stakeholders (Credit, Legal, Operations, Pricing, Compliance etc.).
• Supporting commercial functions in their relations with clients.
• Supporting the development of new product schemes and new business developments in European markets.

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements:

• University qualified.
• Proficient in Dutch and English (C2-C1). Fluent in French.
• Relevant working experience. Experience in the energy sector (including consulting firms) is preferred.
• Excellent understanding of processes associated with sales of commodities, with specific reference to Natural Gas (e.g. pricing, forecasting, financial and credit, logistics); experience in the European energy market is preferred.
• Knowledge on contracts; experience in drafting contracts is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Analytical and critical mindset, working in a methodical and accurate way.
• Well organized and with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Flexible and resilient.
• Team player, highly motivated and dynamic; ability to coordinate a team is a plus.
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and work autonomously as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Very good communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Open to work in an international and challenging environment.
