Role- Business Development Manager (Offshore) The organization develops engineer solutions and integrated services using data and knowledge based insight across our customer dynamic floating and fixed physical infrastructure and wants a Business Development Manager in KSA with a self-starter and commercial mindset with the ability to engage and grow the business of a wide range of industry-leading products and services to support marine and subsea projects for the renewable, nearshore construction, oil, and gas sectors across all lifecycle phases, as well have the comprehension and understand the importance of delivery to clients.

 

It's important to have someone who knows the culture, speaks the language and can truly be a business partner for the KSA market. In the beginning you will be guided by your direct manager. He will join you in meetings. It will help if you have a background in the Offshore Wind industry, so you already have a network and know the big players and customers that we work with, but this is not a must.

Responsibilities-

• Identify, categorize, and report sales opportunities and build sales know how in-country.
• Point of contact for sales to in-country customers and coordinate in-country sales activities.
• Alignment with OpCos on bid strategy and proposed project delivery.
• Lead the organization in-country business, driving performance and growth.
• Attending client meetings, be the organization eyes and ears on the ground.
• Expand the organization Offshore Wind solutions and services by gaining more customer relationships.
• Implement your own work process and coordinating activities with customers and your direct line manager.
• Making business case and strategy based on knowledge of the offshore wind sector in KSA presenting analyses and information based on interpretation.
• Assist in the setting-up of organization local presence in KSA when time comes.

Requirements-

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in a similar role and relevant industry (oil and gas energy, powerplants, onshore energy, solar, coal or gas) in KSA.
• Educational Level - Bachelors:
• Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing or,
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or,
• Related major.
• Proven experience in business development focusing on both upstream services and downstream products.
• Excellent communication skills both Arabic and English (Verbal & Written)
• Self sufficient.
• Certified by PMP, CPSM, PMI or the like is desirable.
• MBA is desirable.
