Charity People are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's prestigious educational institutions, Kings College London in search of a Bid Writer. The Bid Writer will sit in the Fundraising & Supporter Development (F&SD) team. This team is responsible for securing grants from charitable trusts and foundations in the UK and overseas to support the university and their health partners confront some of the most pressing global challenges in health and society.
We are seeking a creative, personable, and insightful individual with experience of securing and managing grants, ideally in the higher education sector.
Key responsibilities:
Ideally, we are seeking an individual that has extensive experience with writing proposal, proof reading, and managing donor communications and relations. You will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication and organisation skills. Having the ability to comprehend complex situations quickly and develop creative solutions as well as excellent IT skills is essential. The successful candidate will be a confident self-starter with a collaborative work style, with an interest in the higher education sector. Project management skills and experience is desirable.
The team are flexible on the salary based on the level of experience, this can be discussed further down the line.
King's College London are moving to hybrid working, ideally working 2 days in their London office from mid-October. This is a part-time contract, but they will consider full-time.
