<p>This is a key role in the leadership team for South Worcestershire responsible for visitor operations at Croome and The Firs (Elgar’s Birthplace), during a period of growth and development.</p>
<p>Alongside an enthusiastic team of staff and volunteers, you’ll deliver high-quality, memorable experiences for our visitors through excellent service and exemplary presentation standards.</p>
<p><strong>What it's like to work here     </strong>   </p>
<p>The South Worcestershire portfolio is known for innovation, consisting of Croome, The Firs (Elgar’s Birthplace), a medieval Tithe Barn and a pub. It’s a diverse portfolio with a range of passionate, long-standing, stakeholders.</p>
<p>Reporting directly to the General Manager, you’ll be part of the Property Leadership Team and join our large team of friendly, passionate staff and volunteers. You'll work in partnership with your leadership colleagues to deliver the property business plan, focussing on the visitor business and a core seasonal programme.</p>
<p><strong>What you'll be doing </strong>       </p>
<p>If you like variety in your work, then this is the job for you. You might be devising a marketing and engagement strategy one day, analysing visitor figures and data, and the next day leading a service workshop with volunteers and discussing access standards with the team.</p>
<p>You'll directly line manage two part time Visitor Experience Officers, a part time Marcomms Officer and a Welcome Manager with a small team of their own. You’ll also manage the Welcome Manager at The Firs as we rebuild and develop the business for this small but very special property: Elgar’s birthplace. You will be expected to manage budgets and deliver stretching targets.</p>
<p>As lead Duty Manager, you’ll ensure that day-to-day visitor operations run smoothly.  And with the Creative Producer, Collections and House Manager and Garden and Outdoors Manager, you’ll make sure that all visitors enjoy a great welcome and have lots of reasons to return.</p>
<p>It’s a 7-day operation, so weekend working will be necessary on a rota basis.</p>
