E&I Quality Assurance Advisor

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Ampol to deliver leading maintenance services to their Lytton site. <br><br>We are currntly seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Assurance Advisor to join the Wood team at the Ampol Refinery based in Lytton, Brisbane. <br><br>This role will work closely with stakeholders to ensure all E&I construction activities meet requirements, standards, and codes in line with contractual and regulatory obligations. <br><br>At this time, we will only consider applications from Australian citizens or those with the required permit/visa for this region, in place. The successful candidate willl: <br><ul><li> Ensure all QA information, documentation, records are compiled and completed correctly and that all work in area of control is executed safely and efficiently in compliance with company standards and procedures </li><li> Provide input to the management of quality functions including planning, preventive action, non-conformance control, corrective action, audits and quality reporting and review </li><li> Actively conduct and participate in field visits with E&I and other workgroups to ensure work packs are being prepared and completed in line with expected QA/QC requirements, including a minimum of 2 x Safety System Inspections every month </li><li> Work with E&I Planners to develop work packs ensuring material requisitions, ITPs and QA documentation is inputted as required prior to construction or maintenance commencing </li><li> Support Senior HSEQ Advisor to implement, monitor and review the Contract Quality Management Plan and Company's Management systems, as well as provide regular progressive updates </li><li> Work with E&I Supervisors to ensure all electrical and instrumentation activities are carried out in accordance with drawings, standards, PO/Work Order requirements, regulatory obligations, and client specifications: <ul><li> Ensure all checks and testing are completed as per the IPT, providing QC signoff on hold point steps as required </li><li> Liaise with and accompany Hazardous Area Auditors to ensure all construction work has been audited and approved for commissioning. Supply all QA documentation to HA Auditor for review </li><li> Monitor Electrical and Instrumentation Installation works and witness electrical and instrumentation works as appropriate </li><li> Provide final inspection of construction work and record outstanding punch list items in the relevant work pack as required </li><li> Raise and document non-conformance / preventative actions when required </li></ul></li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Holder of a valid Electrical license </li><li> Certificate IV in Instrumentation </li><li> Demonstrate in depth knowledge of testing requirements as per AS3000 </li><li> In depth knowledge of EEHA Standards with a sound knowledge of HSEQ requirements for industry </li><li> Possess QA/QC experience in similar role and industry </li><li> Highly effective team player with strong communication, organisational, influencing skills and has excellent customer focus </li><li> Excellent proficiency in MS Office Suite skills and Maintenance Programs </li></ul><br> If you are an experienced QA/QC ready for your next challenge, then we are keen to hear from you today! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
