SR. QA/QC ENGINEER

<b>Department</b><br><br> ONSHORE PROJECTS <br><br> <b>Primary Purpose of the Job</b><br><br><p>Lead the provision of expertise on Quality Management System (QMS) of the Department and ensure compliance with QATARENERGY Standards, International Standards and Regulatory Requirements. </p><p> </p><p>Monitor all quality related activities on assigned projects.</p><br><br><b>Required Experience and Skills</b><br><br><li>Minimum 15 years' of relevant experience in Oil & Gas Industry with an international recognized EPIC contractor or end user/owner organizations, covering pipelines and process plants. </li><li>Hands on working experience in major EPIC projects with involvement in all phases of E-P-I-C from working level to independently managing / Heading QA/QC function, with technical expertise in core discipline. </li><li>Working knowledge in the manufacturing inspection and certification processes for equipment/ materials in projects and the associated Quality Assurance and Quality Control practices.</li><li>Working from corporate offices with functional responsibility for simultaneous coordination / working / managing multiple projects is desirable.</li><li>Working knowledge of using and interpreting Shell DEPs, International Codes / Standards (ASME, ASTM, NACE, AWS, API, BS, ISO) related to the job and industry.</li><li>Sound Welding and NDT knowledge is must.</li><br><br><b>Educational Qualifications</b><br><br><h1>Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Experience</h1><li>Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering from internationally recognized organization or equivalent.</li><li>IRCA Certified QMS Lead Auditor Certification, ASNT Level-II Certification in RT / MT/PT/UT,</li><li>Certifications in welding and painting inspection activities from internationally recognized certification bodies like AWS / CSWIP/TWI. </li><li>Professional certification / affiliation with internationally recognized Quality organizations like CQI or ASQ or similar is desirable.</li>
