Quality Administrator

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is seeking a <b>Quality Assistant/ Admin</b> for existing and upcoming projects in Ontario, Port Hope. <br><br><b> Key Responsibilities: </b><br><ul><li> Assisting with the development of QMS project level policies, processes, and procedures as per ISO 9001 requirements </li><li> Providing departments with quality support and c oordinates between departments for any quality related items </li><li> Maintaining quality management documentation, such as quality action logs, equipment lists, equipment maintance log, equipment inspection tracking list, training matrix, training audits </li><li> Participates in internal/ external audits as required </li><li> Supports the Quality Manager in overseeing the QMS implementation </li><li> Ensures quality records are filled in accordance with Wood's QMS requirements </li><li> Performing regular inspections and reviews to ensure employees adhere to quality policies: </li><li> Delivers timely and effectives administration support to the quality function and the ongoing maintenance of quality systems and databases </li><li> Maintains effective information storage systems at the program level to enable easy retrieval of QA/QC documents and data </li><li> Supports regular compilation and reporting of quality related QA/QC data for management reporting and review purposes </li><li> Supports quality and management systems communications, training and inductions </li><li> Supports the management system management of change process (including publishing of new or revised content and the removal of obsolete content, new project start up, etc.) </li><li> Maintenance of all records demonstrating full traceability of changes to management systems </li><li> Input to the ongoing improvement of quality systems and applications for continual improvement </li><li> Overseeing the training management platform and follow up for any outstanding documents </li><li> Administers the training management platform and keeps it up-to date </li><li> Follows up on missing/ expired training records </li><li> Conducts and tracks an inventory of the equipment (measuring and testing; heavy equipment) used and inspected on the project sites; conducts monthly meetings to ensure the equipment database is up-to date </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> College Diploma with two (2) to three (3) years relevant experience; </li><li> Strong Microsoft Applications experience, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; </li><li> Exposure and experience with ISO 9001 is a plus; </li><li> Strong communication and written skills (Reports neatly written, legible, and provide a good understanding of the conditions in the site for the day); </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
