Architect

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for an Architect in the Civil & Structural discipline for our Kolkata, India office. <br><br>Responsibilities includes but not limited to the following: <br><ul><li> Develops Architectural design activities on a small to medium project </li><li> Generate engineering documents, review drawings, models etc related to Architectural works </li><li> Guide Discipline designers in a project task force ensuring project procedures, standards, quality and schedule </li><li> Participate in man-hour and MTO estimating effort during bid stage </li><li> Supervise discipline designers on project task force in terms of quality and schedule </li><li> Responsible for closing model review comments following project procedure </li><li> Responsible for addressing / resolving RDB conflicts, clash related issues </li><li> Work requires comprehensive knowledge in areas of Architectural expertise and a good understanding of how (discipline) design integrates into and impacts the complete project </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Graduate in Architecture </li><li> 3+ years of experience in Architecture field </li><li> Ability to lead small team in a multi discipline taskforce-based engineering environment </li><li> Should have experience & exposure in FEED & EPC engineering execution in Mining & Metal / Refinery / Petrochemical / Chemical /Oil & Gas/ Power sector </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
